Good idea I think learning from others is probably one of the best things you can do to improve your own art. That's basically what I usually do - observe artists I like, try to figure out how they do those things they do and then try to find a way in which I can use those things for my own purposes.
Yeah, I think it's best to learn from the best (and I'm not necessarily one of them... )
